  11. Short description:
  12. This small tool replaces XfdList from Xfd package, helps you to clue out if
  13. there one or more files are packed or not. It has much more arguments than a 
  14. simple dir/filename and a recursive sign, like XfdList.

  17. XfdDir DIR,P=PATTERN/K,NP=NOPACK/S,NU=NOUNPACK/S,NT=NOTYPE/S,ALL/S

  19. Usage:
  20. It gives you a simple list of the specified files, and you can easily control 
  21. the output. Arguments are:
  22.  
  23. DIR       String, file or directory path, what you want to examine.
  24. PATTERN   String, matching pattern for files. Gives you more filtering
  25.           possibility.
  26. NOPACK    Switch, turns off displaying packed files in output.
  27. NOUNPACK  Switch, turns off displaying unpacked files in output.
  28. NOTYPE    Switch, turns off displaying type of the packer each files or 
  29.           unpacked sign.
  30. ALL       Switch, turns on recursive directory search for files.

  32. Why is this tool useful for you? Probably same for me: I decided to search 
  33. for yet unpacked files on my hard disk, and then produce a filelist for my 
  34. batch packing. Eg.:

  36.  XfdDir >Ram:filelist Work: P=~(#?.info|#?/libs/#?|#?/fonts/#?) NP NT ALL

  38. What is this do for you? Produce a list of unpacked files, but it won't 
  39. examine .info, libs and fonts. (Well, you can add suffixes, but it is much
  40. easier to filter by directories, like I did.)
